A Happy New Year’s wish to all of you from everyone here at 21st Century Equipment. I want to start my first Flyer letter of the year off by thanking you for your business this past year. We truly appreciate your business and our New Year’s resolution is to do everything we can to Make Farming Easier for you.
I want to take this opportunity to welcome our new customers in Scottsbluff and Torrington. We look forward to being your trusted provider of John Deere parts, service and new and used equipment, well into the future. We are excited to be part of these two new communities and assure you we will do everything we can to earn your trust and confidence. I also want to acknowledge the three generations of positive impact the Frank family has had on these two communities and welcome Bryan Frank to our ownership group – maintaining the Frank Family’s 57 year connection with John Deere.
I believe one of the greatest strengths of our organization is our firm commitment to local store management. Our Location Managers are empowered to run the local business as if it was their own while relying on the various support resources of the larger organization. They are encouraged to become active members of their respective communities outside of work in order to gain a local perspective of customer needs, farming practices and community expectations. To that end, I am proud to announce the appointment of Don Lemmon and Scott Helt as Location Managers for Torrington and Scottsbluff respectively. Please join me in congratulating them on their appointment to these two key positions in our organization.
For all our customers across the entire organization, you now have the resources of a 17-store organization at your fingertips. If your local dealership does not have the part you need, it is very likely we will have to you from one of our other locations, the same day, via our daily courier service that will soon join all 17 locations. If your local Integrated Solutions Specialist is unavailable, or does not have an immediate answer, it is quite likely that one of his colleagues across the Company will be able to help you. If we don’t have the piece of new or used equipment that you are looking for on the local lot, chances are that we will have it at one of our other locations.
As we move into 2015, our commitment to recruit local talent has never been stronger. Currently, we are actively recruiting high school applicants for the John Deere Ag Tech programs in Milford, NE and Garden City, KS. In many cases, we provide generous tuition assistance to qualifying students to financially support their training. We are also actively recruiting graduating college seniors, as well as local talent, for full-time positions in a variety of capacities at a number of our locations. These initiatives provide good paying jobs and help keep our rural communities thriving.
