Scottsbluff, Nebraska – June 29, 2020 - 21st Century Equipment, LLC has made several organizational changes to strengthen its local decision-making management strategy.

Owen Palm, CEO, of 21st Century Equipment announced organizational changes effective July
1, 2020 in order to focus on localized management. Owen says, “these changes came after a lot of thought and driven by our commitment to continuous improvement to serve our customers better at the local level.” Keith Kreps, COO, who started with the company in March says “Despite COVID-19, I traveled to all sixteen of our locations in my first 90 days on the job and I believe these changes give us a competitive edge by building both new and existing leadership.”

21st Century Equipment will go from four districts to three districts by expanding the geographical area of the districts.

The South District will continue to be led by Russ Ball. Russ is responsible for Cheyenne Wells, Flagler, Burlington, and now Yuma and Wray. At the location level, Rod Bailey will now be responsible for managing the Flagler location, in addition to continuing his management responsibilities for Yuma.

The new Central District will be led by District Manager, Tyler Burkholder. Tyler is responsible for Ogallala, Imperial, Holyoke, and now Sterling and Fort Morgan locations. Steve Nelson will assist Tyler Burkholder as the new Location Manager for Ogallala.

The new North District will be led by District Manager, Lloyd Harding. Bridgeport, Sidney, and now Gordon, Alliance, Scottsbluff and Torrington are Lloyd’s responsibility. Chad Schneider, currently the Sales Manager for our irrigation division, will be the new Location Manager for Torrington. Prior to getting into the irrigation business in 2005, Chad was a salesman for several years for Frank Implement in Torrington and is very familiar with customers in that area. In addition, 21st Century Equipment has added Kenneth “Ernie” Ewing to the organization as the new Scottsbluff Location Manager. For the last ten years, Ernie was Operations Parts and Service Manager for Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Tracker Marine Centers across the United States. Casey Seymour will now lead the Bridgeport store. Casey has had a strong background having held key positions at Foley Equipment, a major CAT dealership based out of Wichita, KS; Prairieland John Deere in central Kansas; and held the remarketing position at 21st Century Equipment.

All District Managers will report to Keith Kreps, our Chief Operating Officer.

On the Parts and Service side of the business, Steve Jones has been promoted Corporate Parts Manager. Steve will report to Wayne Brozek, VP, Parts and Service.

Replacing Casey as the Vice President of Sales will be Terry Gass. Terry joined 21st Century Equipment five years ago and recently served as the North District Manager, before that, VP, Marketing. Terry has also held various positions at John Deere Corporate for fifteen years.

Palm says, “these changes put each of our locations in a strong position for local-based management with strong District Managers, VP of Sales and COO as back-up to serve all of our customer needs.”
