As AutoTrac is an essential part of our precision farming practices here are a couple of things to keep in mind when preparing for this season or troubleshooting John Deere AutoTrac issues.

  1. Do you have the right display/receiver that has proper activation's? If you have more than one display/receiver and they don’t all have the same activations they can get switched. A receiver with SF1 will AutoTrac but it will not be as precise as one with SF2/SF3 or RTK. A display without AutoTrac may run for a short period on a demo activation then quit when that time expires.
  2. Are the activation's & subscriptions inactive?  Displays and receivers can drop activations. You don’t have to buy new ones when this happens but they do need to be reactivated. This can also happen to SF2/SF3 subscriptions.
  3. You don’t have to wait until an SF2/SF3 subscription expires if you run on a 1 year plan. We can renew a subscription for you at any time of the year and it adds 12 months to the current plan so there is no interruption of service. You can also buy 2 and 3 year plans at a reduced price.
